LIFE GROUPS AT REV CITY CHURCH
We are so excited to launch a brand new semester of Life Groups at Rev City starting this Fall! Check out what Life Groups are all about and some exciting new updates for this upcoming semester.
What are Life Groups?
Life Groups are small groups/discipleship groups that meet weekly throughout the Spring and Fall semesters. Life Groups meet in a variety of ways! Some groups meet at the church, some groups meet in homes around our community, some groups meet in businesses or even restaurants! We have men's groups, women's groups, student/young adult groups, discipleship groups and more!
When do Life Groups meet?
For the 2026 Fall Semester, Life Groups will begin meeting weekly on September 1st and run for 12 consecutive weeks (through November 20th). Life Groups will then pause for a Winter Break and resume in February of 2027.
Who can attend a Life Group?
Life Groups are open to everyone! Be sure to read details on each group before attending! Some groups require a small book/curriculum purchase, and some groups are specific to gender/age/etc.
Do I sign up for a Life Group, or just show up?
Anyone is welcome to simply show up to a group and attend! We do encourage all group members to sign up for their specific Life Group to receive group communication and updates from the Life Group Leader, however signing up is not mandatory to attend.
What if I can't make it to Life Group every week due to travel/schedule conflicts?
Totally fine. We understand life gets busy! Our heart and hope is that group members simply attend as much as they are able to. Don't let a few missed weeks keep you from missing out!
Who can lead a Life Group?
Our church is GROWING and we NEED more group leaders! If you want to lead a group, click the button below to submit a leader interest form and we will follow up with you! (Some qualifications of being a Life Group Leader include: must be active members of Rev City Church, have previously attended a Life Group or led a Life Group previously, etc.)
Do Life Group Leaders pick their own Bible Study/Curriculum or is this provided?
Yes and yes! We want to make it as easy as possible for leaders to confidently lead a Life Group! We allow Life Group Leaders to submit curriculum/book study ideas, or we can also provide a list of great small group curriculum. This year, we are excited to launch and offer our very own Revived to Life Discipleship Track & Small Group Study Guide as an option for Life Groups! Bottom line: we will work with leaders to support them to have a successful Life Group.
What about kids? Is children's ministry provided during Life Groups?
Life Groups that need Children's Ministry are encouraged to meet on Wednesday mornings & Wednesday evenings since we offer Children's Ministry for Infants-Preschool from 9:30am-11:30am & also 6:30pm-8:00pm at Rev City. On Wednesday Nights, Rev City Kids (K-5th) and Rev City Youth (6th-8th) also meet from 6:30pm-8pm!
