Ep. 885 - Shadows

MINISTRY MOMENT

When you look at the motivations of your life, are you living under law or under grace? Because Jesus won such a glorious victory on the cross, by fulfilling the whole law and becoming the sacrifice for all sin, there is no place for legalism or living under the law. We have the privilege of living under grace!

PRAYER POINT

"Dear Lord, thank You for becoming the sacrifice for sin, so that I am free from the law and I now live under grace. Teach me to fully embrace Your grace and walk in it. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Romans 8:3-4, Romans 6:14 and Colossians 2:17.

WALK IT OUT

Pay attention to the motivations of your actions. If you are a believer in Jesus, and put your faith in Him, then you are no longer living under law but under grace. When you find yourself being motivated by the law, trying to earn anything from God by works, shift your motivation and choose to receive God’s free gift of grace, and allow God to work in and through you.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Share compassion with others. Go above and Share with others the truth from Colossians 2:17 that describes the rules and regulations in the old covenant law as shadows of the reality to come, which was Jesus coming as a man to take sin upon Himself at the cross. When He died, He fulfilled the law by becoming the sacrifice for us. We are no longer bound to the old covenant law. We now live a life of faith in Jesus who paid the penalty for sin and rose from the grave! to show outward compassion to the people you meet!
