Ep. 750 - Big Tipper

MINISTRY MOMENT

God is the greatest giver and tipper there ever was or will be. A key scripture every Christian should know is John 3:16 which says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Note the word “gave.” God GAVE His Son! Jesus gave His life for you and me. We should be grateful for opportunities that God gives us to bless others.

PRAYER POINT

"Lord, please help me to have a generous heart. Help me to recognize the opportunities where and when You want me to give, and help me to give with a cheerful heart."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study 2 Corinthians 9:6-12.

WALK IT OUT

The inability to give generously is often tied to a fear that we will run out or exhaust our own resources. We need to trust that God is our provider who supplies our every need. We begin to demonstrate this faith by regularly tithing and giving God the first 10% of our income, while other gifts can and should arise. Generosity starts by recognizing everything we have is truly God’s.
