Ep. 773 - Never Abandoned
MINISTRY MOMENT
The Israelites often forgot God’s goodness and drifted into disobedience. Yet every time they cried out, God rescued them with mercy and love. Nehemiah 9 reminds us that God is gracious, forgiving, slow to anger, and faithful even when His people are not. Like them, we may wander, but God always calls us back, offering forgiveness, restoration, and a joy that only comes from following Him.
PRAYER POINT
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing mercy and love. Even when I’ve turned away, You have never abandoned me. Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to live without You. Draw me back into Your presence and help me to trust Your leadership in every part of my life. Thank You for Your patience, forgiveness, and everlasting love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
GOING DEEPER
Read and study Nehemiah 9.
WALK IT OUT
Where has your heart drifted from God? Take a moment to be honest with Him in prayer, asking for forgiveness and a fresh desire to follow His ways. Choose one small step of obedience each day, like reading Scripture, praying, or redirecting your thoughts toward Him. Let His mercy lead you back into His presence.
SHARE WITH OTHERS
Tell someone who feels far from God about the ways He’s been drawing you nearer to Him lately. Remind them that God’s mercy never runs out. He always welcomes us back with open arms!
