Ep. 691 - Follow the Calling

MINISTRY MOMENT

Has God called you to something? No matter how big or how small the calling is, follow Elisha’s example. Pay attention and recognize the call of God. Think and pray about it, considering the cost, and receive godly counsel from people you trust. Be thankful for the previous season, the things you have learned, and the people who have brought you to this point. Do not allow fear to keep you from what God is leading you to. And when God has confirmed the calling, make a firm commitment to follow, leaving the past behind and walking into the destiny God has for you!

PRAYER POINT

"Dear Father, I do not want to miss what You have for me! I choose to pay attention to You, listening and watching for Your call when You have a shift for me. I give my life to You and will follow You wherever You call me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Read and study 1 Kings 19:19-21.

WALK IT OUT

Pay attention to the Lord, and when you sense He is calling you to something, think and pray about it. Consider the cost and get counsel about it. Do not allow fear to keep you from following God. And when the calling is confirmed, step out in faith and follow God into your destiny!
