Ep. 596 - Home-Line to Heaven

MINISTRY MOMENT

There is an invitation from God for your prayer life to be more than just a hot-line for requests but a home-line for relationship with Him. Of course God welcomes you to pray to Him for prayers of petition, but how often do you find yourself in conversation or adoration of God in your prayers? Start to see prayer as the “Home-line to Heaven.”

PRAYER POINT

“Father, I thank You that when Your children pray to You, You bend down to listen. Thank You that I can come to You in prayer to not only list my requests but also listen to You in relationship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read over Luke 3:21-22. Reflect upon how “as Jesus was praying,” the Heavens opened up and there was an interaction between the relationship of the Trinity.

WALK IT OUT

Pursue the practical wisdom on how to start having a prayer life that is more of a "Home-Line to Heaven"-- instead of always “listing” things to God in prayer, make time and room to “listen” to what God is speaking to and through your prayers to Him.
